TERMATRAC PRODUCT WARRANTY POLICY
This Product Warranty Policy applies to eligible Termatrac products supplied by Termatrac Pty Ltd.
- Consumer Guarantee
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

- Standard Warranty Period
Termatrac Pty Ltd offers a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials and workmanship. Within this period, defects will be repaired at no charge, subject to the exclusions listed in Section 6.
- Extended Warranty Through Annual Calibration
To maintain and extend warranty coverage beyond the initial 24-month period:
•The customer must return the unit to Termatrac (or an authorised service centre) for annual testing and calibration.
Lapsing of Warranty: Failure to complete calibration on or before the annual due date will result in this voluntary warranty extension lapsing and becoming void from that date onward. Note: This does not affect your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law consumer guarantees.
- What This Warranty Covers
Subject to the terms of this policy, this warranty covers defects caused by:
- Manufacturing faults or assembly defects.
- Material defects or workmanship issues.
- Faults not caused by external factors or misuse.
- What This Warranty Does Not Cover (Exclusions)
To the extent permitted by law, this warranty does not cover faults, damage, loss or failure caused by:
- improper, incorrect, unsafe or unintended use;
- failure to follow Termatrac’s operating guides, user manuals, technical instructions or safety directions;
- unauthorised maintenance, repair, modification, alteration or tampering;
- cosmetic damage that does not affect product functionality;
- normal wear and tear;
- exposure to moisture, water, excessive heat, electrical surges, contamination, corrosion or unsuitable environmental conditions;
- negligence, misuse, abuse or lack of reasonable care;
- damage during transport, except where Termatrac is responsible for arranging that transport;

When making a claim, you may be asked to provide:
- proof of purchase;
- service or calibration records, where applicable
Termatrac may require the product to be returned for inspection and assessment before confirming whether the claim is covered by this warranty.
10. Freight, Shipping and Insurance
You are responsible for the cost of shipping and insurance when sending the product to Termatrac for warranty assessment, calibration or service, unless otherwise required by law.
If the product is found to have a defect covered by this warranty, Termatrac will cover the reasonable cost of return shipping to you.
11. Warranty Variations
This warranty is provided by Termatrac Pty Ltd.
No reseller, distributor, employee, agent or third party is authorised to alter, extend or vary this warranty unless the variation is confirmed in writing by an authorised representative of Termatrac Pty Ltd.
