Calibration

All Termatrac devices require annual calibration to ensure consistent accuracy and to verify that all electronic components are functioning in line with test and measurement standards. Calibrating test and measurement equipment is essential for maintaining reliability and performance. Termatrac devices are vital tools for detecting movement, moisture, and temperature variations, supporting Pest Control Operators (PCOs) and Building Inspectors with accurate digital graphs and data presented in percentiles. However, without regular calibration, the accuracy and reliability of the measurements cannot be guaranteed. Environmental factors such as humidity and temperature fluctuations can impact results over time, while frequent use can lead to wear and tear on external components, further affecting data integrity. To maintain optimal performance and accuracy, Termatrac recommends that devices are calibrated annually. Termatrac Calibration Centres carry out comprehensive inspections, recalibration, and any necessary repairs to uphold factory standards and keep your device performing at its best.

iTraker Calibration Process:

(Does not include freight)

The iTraker calibration process is a comprehensive procedure designed to ensure each device operates to the highest standard of accuracy and reliability. All work is conducted in accordance with Termatrac’s factory specifications and quality assurance protocols.

Calibration Process Includes:

  • Conduct a full functional check of the device.
  • Inspect the enclosure and all external components for damage or wear; replace as necessary.
  • Inspect all internal connections and electronic components; repair or replace as required.
  • Inspect and test the battery to ensure proper performance.
  • Upgrade the firmware to the latest version available.
  • Radar Motion Sensor — Inspect and calibrate power output and sensitivity; replace any components that are faulty or outside of specification.
  • Moisture Sensor —  Inspect and calibrate for accuracy and sensitivity; replace components as required.
  • Temperature Sensor — Inspect and calibrate for both accuracy and sensitivity; replace if necessary.
  • Laser Pointer — Test functionality and replace any faulty parts.
  • Thermal Imaging Camera — Conduct functionality testing and make calibration adjustments where required.
  • Replace the scuff pads to maintain device stability during use.
  • Perform a final quality assurance inspection to confirm all functions meet factory standards.

Upon successful calibration, the device will be issued with:

  • Pass Calibration Certificate
  • Quality Assurance (QA) label
  • A clearly marked, Next Calibration Due Date

This process ensures your iTraker continues to deliver reliable, accurate results in the field.
